Charities.

Huntington's WA was founded in 1974 to support individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease. Their purpose is to achieve the best possible life outcomes for people with Huntington's Disease, their carers and families through advocacy, support and education.

Huntington's Disease is a fatal, hereditary illness impacting a person through physical/movement disorder causing cognitive/intellectual changes and emotional/personality/psychiatric changes. The tragedy of this disease is enormous. There is no cure for Huntington's Disease.

Miracle Babies Foundation is Australia’s leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.
Every year in Australia around 44,000 babies require the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery.
For families, the experience of having a baby come into the world not as expected or planned is life changing. Without support, this overwhelming and traumatic experience can have lifelong effects on their emotional wellbeing. Miracle Babies develops and provides vital programs and resources to support and enhance a family’s experience from a threatened pregnancy, their hospital journey, the transition to home and beyond.

The Song Room is a national not-for-profit organisation that provides opportunities for enhanced learning and development for disadvantaged children through music and arts programs. Their vision is that all Australian children have the opportunity to participate in music and the arts to enrich their education, personal development and community involvement. Their programs are based on research and have been demonstrated to improve educational and social outcomes and to help schools create and sustain their own music and arts programs.

Founded in 2007, ICEA Foundation is a youth led organisation working to build mutual respect between all Australians. ICEA’s mission is: ‘Reconciliation Inspired by Young People,’ and our three major programs work together to build understanding, experiences and relationships between young indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
